簡介：

    韋文浩（劉錫明）生於小康之家，祖父韋應昌望子成龍，促成其父韋玉冠（羅樂林）娶祥呈公主，豈料公主病逝，從此家道中落，受盡白眼。後文浩結識了潦倒詞人周邦彥（劉江），結爲知己，受邦彥薰陶，發奮向上，終踏足官場。文浩有一好友高俅爲攀附端王（張兆輝），不惜出賣文浩，後更奪去其青梅竹馬的女友念媽，文浩受打擊之余，性格漸變質以求顯達。文浩有一婢仆楚明珠（邵美琪），兩人初爲鬥氣冤家，後明珠發現文浩亦有純良之一面，對他改觀，二人漸生情愫，但文浩爲了重振家聲，未用情。邦彥與名妓李師師（謝甯）相戀，但自覺潦倒半生，身無長物下聘，故未敢迎娶師師。此時端王登基是爲徽宗，文浩討徽宗歡心，安排師師獻唱，徽宗驚爲天人，召師師入宮，後得知邦彥與師師相戀，下令殺邦彥，面對友情、榮祿，文浩如何取舍！
