一、廠商介紹：
kid是英文字母“kindle imagine develop”的縮寫，目前是日本cyberfront公司經營的電子遊戲品牌。而cyberfront這一品牌由同名之kid公司於1988年創立，並經營至2006年11月底止。世界就是這麽奇妙，因該公司經營不善，已在2006年 12月1日向東京地方法院申請自行破產。而cyberfront公司則正是在2007年2月通過破產管理律師接手了kid公司所有遊戲軟件的一切權利及業務。kid公司經營初期曾代工一些射擊遊戲和動作遊戲，1996年起開始制作戀愛題材的冒險遊戲和美少女遊戲。主要作品包括《時空輪回》（ever17）系列、《秋之回憶》（memories off）系列和《無限輪回》（infinity）系列等。這部份作品已經正式翻譯成中文、英文等語言。而至今發行過許多的戀愛遊戲的kid 公司，其中也不乏女性向作品。其中評價最高，也唯一發行過續作的，便是這部結合傳說與現實的奇幻羅曼史的《水之旋律》（nizu no senritsu）了。

三、劇情繼承系統：
《水之旋律2：緋之記憶》不僅有更多角色出現，就連前代的人物也會全部重新登場，並對一代女主角白石陽菜的最終歸屬，采用繼承存檔的方式，由玩家自己決定想要延續七種情侶的哪一個結局，只要繼承一代角色的真實結局，在二代將會展開後續不同的劇情以及 cg畫面。

四、新的戰鬥系統：
