烹飪導師魯小麗與丈夫吳敏德去了一趟旅行回來，小女兒吳采妮與懷疑有同性戀傾向的同事劉達人同居、失婚的妹妹魯小美則與租客遊佳及前夫三人關係曖昧、丈夫被迫提早退休賦閒在家、自己卻遇上黃金機會，成了電視台烹飪節目主持。家庭的突變並未讓這位萬能主婦氣餒，反而付上諸般的忍耐及加倍的愛心來排難解紛，但丈夫總不識時務，專唱反調，小麗終想出妙法對付丈夫...。
